Role

We are seeking a talented content writer and shoot producer to join our creative agency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Working closely with the content team, you will be forward-thinking with excellent writing, communication and organisational skills.

This is a unique and exciting full-time role (40 hours per week) based at our spacious, snack-filled office in Morningside – with plenty of on and off-street parking spots. Working with a friendly team of seven, workplace culture is really important to us at Concoction. We regularly carry out team events, group fitness and professional development.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Communicating with contributors for our client’s monthly publication on a daily basis.
• Researching and producing engaging, informative written content for our client’s monthly publication.
• Proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Travelling throughout New Zealand on a regular basis to source the best stories.
• Planning and scheduling photo and video shoots, including booking flights, transport and accommodation for yourself and the content team.
• Working closely with our content team to plan, coordinate, and execute photo and video shoots.
• Production assistance and interview facilitation when on shoots.
• Managing budgets and timelines to ensure that shoots are completed on time and within budget.
• Project management for contract photographers to meet the requirements of our clients.

Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Social media, PR, and digital marketing skills are not essential but would be an added bonus.

Qualifications

• You will have a qualification in journalism, marketing, communications, or something similar.
